FAQ

Q: HOW ARE LASH EXTENSIONS APPLIED?

The treatment is performed by opening 1.5 mm from the eyelash root and attaching one extension to each eyelash. There should be no pain, no tingling, no discomfort, etc.

Q: WHAT EYELASH DESIGNS ARE AVAILABLE?

At our studio, we offer J, C & CC curls. Extension lengths range from 0.6 to 0.15, and lash thickness from 0.10 - 0.15.
During your consultation, we will talk you through the options based on the client's own desires, eyelashes, and face to create the best results possible.

Q: WHAT DO I NEED TO DO PRIOR TO MY APPOINTMENT?

Please arrive with no eye makeup, especially no mascara, eyeliner, or eyelash curling. If you normally wear contact lenses, please bring a case for them as they will need to be removed for the treatment.

Q: WHAT ADHESIVE IS USED?

We use an adhesive that contains considerably fewer allergens.
Normally, formaldehyde is contained in the adhesive from 2000ppm to 3000ppm, we use a special adhesive that is suppressed to 14ppm.

Q: MY EYELASHES ARE SHORT, CAN I STILL GET LASH EXTENSIONS?

Even if your lashes are short, you can still get the treatment as long you have 3 mm of lash growth. When you come to the studio, a technician will inspect and provide counseling.

Q: WILL LASH EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?

No, our lashes are manufactured in Korea and actually weigh only an eighth of the standard lash extensions available in most of the UK. This means there will be no stress or heaviness on the natural lash which can sometimes cause damage and discomfort.

Q: HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?

An average appointment can last up to about 1.5 - 2 hours, including counseling.
If you want to add more lashes or if you want to have lower lashes, additional time is necessary.

Q: HOW OFTEN IS THIS TREATMENT REQUIRED?

You can enjoy your lash extensions for up to 6 weeks if proper personal care and attention are provided. The lash extensions will fall out as your natural lashes grow and shed. We recommend getting infills every 2-3 weeks to maintain a beautiful full set.

Q: CAN I WASH MY FACE AFTER THE TREATMENT?

Yes, avoid getting your eyelashes wet 24 hours following your appointment, but after this period it's important to wash your lashes daily for hygiene purposes.

Avoid oil cleansing as the lash glue isn't compatible with oil. Gel cleansing and water cleansing are recommended.
Rubbing the eyes may cause eyelashes to fall out or become tangled, so please wash your face gently.

Q: WILL I NEED A PATCH TEST?

Yes, all new clients are recommended to take a patch test 48 hours before the treatment. This is for your own safety and to avoid any allergic reactions.

Q: CAN I GET THE TREATMENT IF I'M PREGNANT?

Yes, but please let us know you are pregnant when making a booking. The products used will not cause any harm to the mother or child. During the treatment, you will be lying on your back for some time, we will do our best to keep you comfortable but please schedule your appointment according to your body's condition.

Q: HOW CAN I REMOVE THE LASH EXTENSIONS?

We recommend all clients come into the studio for qualified lash removal by a technician. Please do not try to remove the lashes yourself, you could cause damage and trauma to your natural eyelashes.
